Where they started

In May 2022, Jackson Wiener had $73.31 in his bank account. He was 22. He had already tried crypto and sports betting, and Carson had tried e-commerce. Neither had worked.

The brothers set up a $290 monitor on a shared desk and started cold-calling around 100 people a day, trying to wholesale rundown houses. Deals fell apart at inspection, sellers hung up, and months went by with little to show for it.

The conversation that changed the business

A local home builder told them to stop bringing him old houses: if they could find him a vacant buildable lot in a specific neighborhood, he would pay for it. That flipped their approach. Instead of finding property and hoping someone would buy it, they started with what builders already wanted and then went to find the land.

That idea became the Builder-First Method, and it is still the core of everything they teach.

Jackson Wiener

Jackson is the co-founder most people know from the Wiener Bros YouTube channel, where he teaches the Builder-First Method on a whiteboard and interviews students about their deals. He focuses on teaching, coaching and the WealthBuilder partnership.

Carson Wiener

Carson is Jackson's brother and co-founder of WealthBuilder and Land Atlas. He leads much of their larger land work, including luxury and waterfront deals, and shares deals on Instagram and TikTok as @carsonbuysland.

Why they teach

There are more than 3,000 counties in the United States, and builders ask for far more lots than two people in Florida could ever find.
